Fairies are very clever at not being seen but there are tell tale signs to watch out for and below we share 8 Signs that a Fairy Has Visited You
Fairies are shy, gentle creatures who are easily frightened away, which is why they are never seen. However if they feel welcome, happy and safe, fairies will make themselves at home in your room. And over time, they will begin to leave little tell-tale signs and hints that they have been there.
Below is a list of 8 Signs that a Fairy Has Visited You
1. When you suddenly smell something sweet.
Fairies smell sweet, so if you suddenly notice the smell of something like flowers, strawberries or even honey …. know that a fairy is probably nearby.
2. When birds nearby start to sing.
Fairies love birds, butterflies and nature and they love to play amongst them. So if birds suddenly begin to sing, know that a fairy could be nearby.
3. When flowers begin to grow near your room
Fairies love flowers, especially dandelions and daisies; and they enjoy scattering seeds around. You’ll know a fairy is near when flowers begin to grow near your room even though you didn’t plant them.
4. When you feel a tickle on your cheek
You’ll be surprised to know that often when you feel a tickle on your cheek, that is a fairy kiss. A fairy will watch and wait for the right time, often when you’re asleep, and then gently give the most delicate, gentle kiss. Which we will often feel as a tickle.
5. If your pet suddenly starts playing about.
Animals can sense things we can’t and when your pet suddenly starts to run and play around, this is sometimes a sign that a fairy is near. Fairies love animals and they both enjoy playing together, so even though you can’t see her, know that your pet is probably enjoying some playtime with a special visitor.
6. When you hear taps, bumps and noises at night time
Night time is when fairies love to visit, especially when they know you’re asleep in your bed. So if you hear little taps, bumps and scratches at night, don’t be scared because it is probably your fairy having a great time playing in your room.
7. When you wake up in the morning and notice some things have moved in your room
Sometimes fairies don’t leave things where they found them, so when you wake up in the morning and notice that some of your things are in different places, know that your fairy has been using these during the night. Especially if they are small things that she can use easily, like little toys, pencils, clips, ribbons & bows. That’s why fairies love to find small, fairy-sized decorations and treats outside her fairy door when she visits! Things such as a Fairy Table, decorated with tiny cups and plates, book, fairy food, fairy shoes, mushrooms etc
And of course, the last one in our 8 Signs that a Fairy Has Visited You is:
8. When you see fairy dust
~ When fairy dust is seen – know that a fairy has been ~
Fairies have the most beautiful, glistening fairy wings and whenever they flutter, sparkly fairy dust sprinkles down. So whenever you see fairy dust, know that a fairy has been there.
It could be a trail of fairy dust along a shelf, or sparkly fairy footprints leading to your fairy door, or even under your ned! Because fairies often check under your bed, in corners and in wardrobes to make sure all is OK.
