The Birthday Fairy loves to surprise children on their birthday! If you have a birthday in your home soon, the fairies already know about it and are planning fairy celebrations.
This is such a cute way to include your child’s magical, secret friends to join in the birthday celebrations and at the same time, create precious childhood memories.
We have lots of ideas of how to decorate a fairy door for birthday celebrations including using items like ‘party poppers’ as fairy streamers. We also have fairy balloons to decorate your fairy door, fairy birthday cards to leave a special birthday message and even fairy-sized birthday cakes.
1. Every birthday needs a ‘Happy Birthday Sign’. Print on a sheet of white A4 paper some colourful letters that spell “Happy Birthday”, cut each one out and glue over a length of string above above your fairy door. You could also include your child’s name. (See below for our Youtube clip to watch how we made ours)
3. The Birthday Fairy loves to leave special messages and to make this day precious, we have fairy-sized Birthday Cards which have blank insides, so that a special birthday message can be left outside your fairy door. We have Pink Cards and Blue Cards available.
4. No birthday celebration is complete without a Birthday Cake and we have fairy-sized birthday cakes, so your fairy friends do not miss out on a piece ! We have a Pink Birthday Cake and a Chocolate Birthday Cake available.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST… put the finishing touch on your beautiful Birthday Fairy setting with some fairy-sized streamers! These are easy to create by using a “Party Popper” available from supermarkets. Simply pop one and decorate your fairy door with the streamers that fly out! Perfect!
A fairy door truly is a precious item for your child as it can be used to celebrate, encourage and inspire little imaginations. With a touch of ‘make-believe’, taking a few minutes to write a fairy note or by leaving a few fairy accessories outside it, you can create the most magical place that your child will treasure for years to come.
